Pasture-to-Plate Turkeys Field Day

Ages 7-13

Spend the morning with Jess, our Hog and Poultry Manager, and John, our Livestock Director, learning about our pastured turkeys, and how to humanely process them! Then, join Abigail, our Pastry Chef, and Lydon, our Education Coordinator, to make your own turkey pot pies from scratch using many farm-fresh ingredients to take home and bake!

This will be an opportunity for kids to get a true, hands-on farm-to-table experience. We will be dispatching a live animal. Please consider if your child will be upset or uncomfortable with this before signing them up.

*Our Young Farmer Field Days are set up for parents to drop off in the morning and pick up in the afternoon. However, if you have a child that will be uncomfortable without their parent, you're welcome to tag along. Please note that when traveling to different parts of the farm, parents may have to drive their own vehicles depending on the space available on our Tour Wagon.
