Makerspace Field Day

Ages 7-13

We are proud to be a zero-waste facility here at White Oak Pastures! Our Makerspace is where many of our “byproducts” get turned into products such as candles, leather goods, and pet chews. 

Students will have the opportunity to learn about how these products are processed and made, create their own leather craft, and make a product out of tallow. 

*Our Young Farmer Field Days are set up for parents to drop off in the morning and pick up in the afternoon. However, if you have a child that will be uncomfortable without their parent, you're welcome to tag along. Please note that when traveling to different parts of the farm, parents may have to drive their own vehicles depending on the space available on our Tour Wagon.
